Mail faces ban over grubby ad
INDEPENDENT News and Media (INM) has called for the Mail On Sunday to be expelled from the main trading group in Ireland.
The move follows the grubby decision by the British-owned Mail to publish a fake Sunday Tribune page for a number of its editions when the Tribune went into receivership.
INM, which publishes this paper, said the Mail should be removed from the National Newspapers of Ireland.
"In light of the Irish Mail On Sunday's action last week, when it deliberately and blatantly passed itself off as the Sunday Tribune newspaper, we are seeking the expulsion of the Mail On Sunday from the National Newspapers of Ireland," said INM.
