Love/Hate actress Susan unveils her debut novel
Love/Hate's Susan Loughnane has revealed her excitement after receiving the first batch of her debut tome.
Entitled The Art of Scandal, it will hit shelves in Ireland on October 7 - the same week that the RTE crime drama series returns to our screens.
Telling the story of an Irish artist in New York who flees back to Ireland, it features a flame-haired model on the front page holding a paint palette
Speaking of her delight at getting the hard copies of her first book, the actress-turned- author said: "I'm rubbing my eyes and then rubbing them again and then pinching myself. Is this happening?"
Although it doesn't launch in Ireland for two weeks, it's already available to buy off Amazon in the States.
The multi-talented 27-year-old star (right) played prostitute Debbie in the hit RTE series Love/Hate before being killed off in the fourth season.
She then put pen to paper and such was her talent she managed to nab a deal with Poolbeg Publishers.
"It's a story that I've had in my head for the past six years.
I've been writing for a really long time - before I started acting, I started writing this book," she told the Herald.
