Looted painting to be returned
A Matisse painting looted by the Nazis is to be returned to the heirs of a Jewish art dealer who include Anne Sinclair, the ex-wife of former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
The 1921 painting Seated Woman originally belonged to Paul Rosenberg, Ms Sinclair's grandfather, and is worth over €80m. Mr Rosenberg fled Paris to New York with his family in 1940, after which around 400 masterworks were looted from his collection. The painting was rediscovered the apartment of a reclusive art collector in Munich in 2012.
