NIALL Horan has splashed out on a lavish birthday present for his one-year-old nephew Theo.

The One Direction star (20) hot-footed it home to Mullingar during a few precious days off and delighted the baby son of big brother Greg with a €200 model luxury car.

Generous Niall, who's worth a reported €17m, delivered the present personally after coming back to Ireland after 1D finished their European tour.

He was delighted with Theo's reaction as he Tweeted a photo of him in the car, saying: "They see me rollin! They hatin!"

Niall also shared a throwback picture of his first cuddle with tiny Theo in celebration of the event. He added: "Happy 1st birthday Theo. Love you and have a great day buddie."

It was only Niall's second visit home since last Christmas as he's been super-busy with the chart-topping band.

Greg echoed Niall's comment, saying: "Happy first birthday to my amazing and beautiful and best friend."

There have been no further reports of his plans to sell commemorative coins featuring his son and marking his milestone first birthday for €22 each.

Meanwhile, the 1D tour is on track to rake in €100m in the first half of this year alone, beating stars including the Rolling Stones and Bruce Springsteen.

The What Makes You Beautiful stars claimed the number one slot on the Midyear Top 100 Worldwide Tours, bringing in €96m, just ahead of U2's 360 tour in 2009. To date, the five One Direction stars have played 31 shows in 17 cities.
