Laura packs fluffy slippers for jungle stint

LAURA Whitmore will bring a touch of home comforts to the I'm A Celeb jungle when the show returns later this month.

The Bray native is leaving her stylish wardrobe behind as she prepares to decamp to Australia until Christmas.

But there are some fashion items she can't do without - yesterday she posted a picture of her fluffy slippers, saying: "I shall be on a lot of planes this week so will be wearing these sexy bad boys a lot."

Laura (29) will return to Australia to host I'm A Celebrity . . . Get Me Out Of Here Now with Joe Swash. TV favourites Ant and Dec will present the main show for the 14th year running.

While she's prepping to present the spin-off show, Laura has ruled out ever entering the jungle as a contestant.

"Not in a million years," she said. "I know too much about what goes on. I know where all the cameras are. I could have people sneaking me in cans of Coke.

"But no. I'm not petrified of insects, but I could do without them. And I could definitely do without the Australian spiders - they're the size of plates."

The launch night of the new series has been confirmed as Sunday, November 16, and speculation is currently mounting over which celebrities will be entering the jungle.

Roy Keane confirmed that while he was approached to take part in the show, he won't be entering the jungle just yet.

"I've had the Celebrity Big Brother offers and the Get Me Out people," he revealed. "I met the jungle people, but I thought, 'Nah, not for me'."
