Music fans are still excited from the news that the Script and Pharell Williams will be playing Croke Park next summer and now another top Irish band have confirmed a new headline gig.
Dublin rockers Kodaline will be ringing in 2015 at the annual New Year's Countdown Concert in Dublin.
The High Hopes band will be the headliners at the event in College Green, it was revealed yesterday.
They will be joined by James Vincent McMorrow plus The Dublin Legends, Walking On Cars and The Whereabouts.
Tickets for the event, which are priced €25.40, go on sale on Friday.
Trail Meanwhile on December 30 and 31, there will be a music trail organised by the New Year's Festival.
It will include live performances from Le Galaxie at Meeting House Square, Rubyworks Sessions at Chapel Royale in Dublin Castle, the Dublin Gospel Choir at Christ Church.
It will be a homecoming of sorts for Kodaline who recently had to cancel their US and Canadian tour when bassist Jay broke his wrist in a "silly accident".
