KENNY'S CHINESE TOUR SEALS DEALS FOR IRISH FIRMS
Irish companies have inked contracts with Chinese investors, thanks to the Taoiseach's visit to Shanghai.
At a business breakfast in the city with representatives from 90 Irish companies, Enda Kenny told Chinese business leaders that the Irish economy was recovering well, was a "world leader" and now was the perfect time to invest.
Mr Kenny will also seek to boost the number of Chinese tourists in Ireland and to increase cultural links between the two nations.
A total of 15 Tipperary Crystal centres are due to open in the Asian country and an Irish recruitment firm has opened another new branch.
Mr Kenny is paying the visit, scheduled to last until March 29, at the invitation of Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.
