WORLD boxing champion Katie Taylor will be Grand Marshal for the Dublin St Patrick's Day Parade.
The 24-year-old Olympic hopeful said she was "thrilled" to have been picked to lead the festivities.
"I'm always proud to represent Ireland but it's usually in a boxing ring, so this will be a completely different experience for me," she admitted.
"The parade is always great fun and I'm really looking forward to being involved on the day."
She may be at ease in the boxing ring but Taylor said the celebrations would be a test for her nerves.
"I'll probably be more nervous leading the parade than I would be stepping into the ring," she revealed.
