Jobs for women to rise
THE number of women employed in 2015 will exceed pre-recession levels, according to estimations from FAS and the ESRI.
It is predicted that there will be 80,000 less people in work in five years time, but that the numbers of female employees will have increased.
Some sectors are expected to make a full recovery to pre-recession times in terms of employment, including high-tech manufacturing, communications and finance.
Public-sector workers, including health professionals and teachers, will see their sectors stagnate in terms of new employment.
