'Jet shock' dad settles case

A DUBLIN Airport baggage handler who claimed he was injured after receiving two electric shocks from a Boeing 737 plane has settled his High Court action.

FATHER-OF-TWO Patrick Kemmy (39) of Park Boulevard, Tyrellstown, Blanchardstown, Dublin, claimed the Dublin Airport Authority and his employer Servisair were negligent by allowing him to use unsafe equipment which later led to the accident on April 27, 2009.

He claimed the cable he was plugging into the aircraft using should have been properly protected against water, as it was raining at time.
