RTE star Jenny Greene has spoken of her disgust at encountering a naked man while swimming at White Rock beach in Dalkey.

She saw the downsides of the recent heatwave after saying how she "doesn't want to step over someone's beach balls".

Jenny was taken aback when she encountered the man on the steps leading down to the popular beach. "Just when we got to a very narrow path, there is a gentleman lying flat out, completely naked, like a starfish. That's not attractive," she said.

"I'm not a prude and I feel like he's there to make a point: 'I'm naked, what are you going to do about it?' And I thought, 'You're actually repulsive'."

She told listeners to the 2fm show how she even took a photo of the naked man and said he was in his late 50s.

"No matter what your persuasion, it's not an attractive thing," she said.
