Irish agent opens door to stars Mo
and Usain

The Irish super-agent behind two of the biggest track stars told how he brought Mo Farah home to Donegal for Christmas and is hoping to bring Usain Bolt to Irish soil next year.

Ricky Simms is the Jerry Maguire-style figure behind the charismatic Jamaican and the British double gold medallist.

The Pace Sports Management agency run by the Donegal agent bagged an extraordinary haul in medals in the last Olympics.

And Usain Bolt (inset), who is to heat up the Commonweath Games, has had close ties with the agent since he was a teen.

"I am usually a few steps behind him wherever he goes," Ricky said.

And the sports manager said he is hoping to get the sunshine-loving Jamaican back to his hometown in the next year.

"We had planned to come to Donegal this year but unfortunately didn't find the time. I hope it can happen in 2015," he said. "My family are in Donegal and (I) go back for Christmas and weddings. "Mo came to Donegal with us for Christmas in 2006," he added.
