Insolvencies slowing

THE amount of company failures in Ireland is beginning to slow down, new figures from InsolvencyJournal.ie have revealed.

In May there was saw a small relief in the number of corporate insolvencies, with 122 appointments recorded during the month -- a 25pc drop on April's figure of 162.

And the worst could now be over for the construction industry with a 33pc fall in insolvencies last month -- 24 within the month, compared to with 36 in April.
