In brief: Strauss-Kahn facing TV quiz

FORMER IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn faces his first public quiz over his arrest for sexually assaulting a New York hotel chambermaid.

Lawyers for Guinean maid Nafissatou Diallo say he should "answer pointed questions about his conduct" when he appears on French TV's biggest new programme tomorrow.

It will be Strauss-Kahn's first TV interview since charges were dropped against him last month. He still faces a lawsuit filed by Ms Diallo. He denies the allegations.

Ms Bormann said Fox hit her after she stopped him from boarding a chartered party bus she was driving on August 28. She said Fox wanted a ride to his hotel and appeared drunk.

The attack happened in the heavily forested region near the Canadian border.

It is illegal to kill a grizzly bear, which is listed as threatened in most of the US and it was not immediately known if the hunter who shot the bear would be charged with a crime.
