I won't cry on my last broadcast -- Micheal
LEGENDARY GAA broadcaster Micheal O Muircheartaigh (80) insisted he won't be shedding any tears during his last ever commentary.
O Muircheartaigh (below) will be taking to the mic in Croke Park one last time tomorrow for the All Ireland football final between Cork and Down.
However, despite the significance of the occasion, O Muircheartaigh insists he will get on with the job in hand and won't have time to cry over the end of his 62-year career.
"I am not an emotional person, I look forward to it like I look forward to every game I ever did. If it can match the hurling, it will be priceless.
"There will still be an All Ireland next year, and one the following year. Le cunamh De, I will be there."
