'I want to play an Irish girl', Wolf star Margot tells Lisa
Good news for fans of Hollywood bombshell Margot Robbie.
The Wolf Of Wall Street star has said she would love to take on an Irish role after working with a string of Irish stars including Domhnall Gleeson and Saoirse Ronan.
Former Xpose girl Lisa Cannon flew to London to interview the Australian actress at the premiere of her new movie with Gleeson, Goodbye Christopher Robin, and said she's impressed with our talent.
"She told me she really wants to take on an Irish role next," Lisa told the Diary. "She really wants to tackle the accent as it's notoriously difficult to do.
"Margot was amazing. She was talking a lot about empowering women and how in television and the media we really need to help each other out.
Lisa also interviewed American hunks Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford about their new movie, Blade Runner 2049.
"I was a little intimidated beforehand because Ford is a living legend and it's not every day you interview someone like him," she said.
"He's kind of a megastar and doesn't do many interviews but he was absolutely lovely.
"He has a very dry sense of humour and had us all in knots laughing so it worked out great."
Lisa got the chance to get close and personal with the stars for the second series of her TV3 show, Box Office.
Running for half-an-hour, it will air close to 11pm on Thursday after the weekly movie.
Lisa has also enlisted the services of RTE's Dave Fanning to review some of the hottest new movies.
Lisa is just back from a dream holiday in the Maldives with her husband.
