It was many people's favourite look of the day, and now you can get your hands on a replica of the Stella McCartney dress Meghan Markle wore for the evening reception at her wedding - without the designer price tag.

In just a matter of hours, people were sharing similar styles to Meghan's first look of the day - a white Givenchy gown.

Irish designer Shauna Fay even managed to create a replica of the gown in just 24 hours.

Now, eagle-eyed fashionistas have managed to spot a strikingly similar style to the bride's second dress, by Stella McCartney.

The high neck "extreme split" front maxi dress by Faith is stocked by Boohoo.com and - with 20pc off - is available for a very purse-friendly €24.

At the budget price, it's probably not going to have the same fit and feel as Meghan's bespoke Stella, but it might well be worth a fitting anyway.

The dress comes in three colours - white, lilac and red.

Meghan wore the dress for the couple's exclusive evening reception at Frogmore House, which saw 200 selected guests from the day joining Harry, Meghan and host Prince Charles for a night of music and dancing.

Shauna told how she only decided to design a replica of the Stella halter after designing her version of Meghan's first wedding gown from fashion house Givenchy.

"I said at around 5am, 'You know Sharon [Patterson, from Elody Bride], I've a bit of a notion to do the second dress', and she said, 'Sure go for it!'," Shauna said.

"The second one was a real knock-up but it looked really good."

She designed both dresses within 24 hours.

Meghan accessorised the dress with a statement aquamarine ring from Princess Diana's collection, believed to be a special gift from Harry to his new wife, and a pair of Aquazzura satin shoes, which had baby blue soles.

Designer of the sleek second dress, Stella, said she felt "humbled" to be chosen to dress Meghan for her wedding reception.

"I am so proud and honoured to have been chosen by the Duchess of Sussex to make her evening gown and represent British design. It has truly been one of the most humbling moments of my career and I am so proud of all the team on this stunning sunny royal day," Stella said.

Meghan's mother, Doria Ragland, was also dressed in Stella McCartney to celebrate her daughter's marriage to Harry, wearing a scarlet red, long-sleeve silk dress with suede sandals and a brass-coloured box clutch bag. Stella also dressed stars who attended the wedding service, including Amal Clooney, who wowed in a yellow silk midi dress.
