It looks like former Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter is waltzing her way on to one of the most glamorous shows on TV.
Sources have confirmed to the Herald that the glamorous model will be dusting off her dance shoes ahead of the third series of RTE's Dancing With The Stars.
Meanwhile, RTE has officially revealed that the first celebrity set to shimmy their way on to our TV screens is presenter Mairead Ronan.
Mairead gave birth to her third child, daughter Bonnie, earlier this year, with Kathryn Thomas taking over her role on Ireland's Fittest Family.
Mairead is also a co-host on the holiday show Getaways with Vogue Williams, Tommy Bowe and Joe Lindsay.
The mum-of-three told RTE she already felt nervous about throwing shapes on live TV in January.
"I've never done anything glamorous on TV, I'm always out in fields and mucky places with wellies and runners, so now to be in heels and sparkly dresses is both brilliant and brutal," she said.
"The only dancing I do is around the kitchen with my baby, so this is going to be a whole new experience for me."
The rest of the line-up will be announced over the coming days, with the next celebrities set to be revealed on the Ryan Tubridy show this morning, as well as more contestant news expected on 2FM's Breakfast Republic tomorrow.
A total of 11 new celebrities will be paired up with professional partners when the show kicks off in the new year.
The first episode is scheduled for Sunday, January 6, with the series set to run for 12 weeks until March 24.
While the judging panel of Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry and Julian Benson remains the same there has been a shake-up to the presenters.
Jennifer Zamparelli will join Nicky Byrne, replacing Amanda Byram, who hung up her dancing shoes during the summer.
"She has left big shoes to fill, but I am looking forward to the challenge and I can't wait to get started," said Jennifer.
"Me and Amanda are completely different people, different styles of presenting, so I think you have to be yourself," she added.
"But there is probably going to be a big rulebook of things I can't say that I will probably have to read over again before I start. It's going to be a lot of fun."
Darren Kennedy is also set to take on the tango in the new year.
He was photographed with Karen Byrne, who lifted the Glitterball Trophy with Jake Carter last year.
The style guru and the ballroom champ were spotted out and about in Temple Bar, setting the rumour mill into motion as to whether he was one of the celebrities signed up for the new season of the hit dancing show. Darren was wearing a comfortable-looking tracksuit and runners when he was pictured alongside reigning series champion Karen.
As for the spin-off show Can't Stop Dancing, Blathnaid Treacy will return to host the show on Friday, January 4, on RTE One.
