Love/Hate's Johnny Ward has told how people thought he was dead and had been writing RIP on his Facebook page after his character was killed off two weeks ago.
Johnny (27) played bad boy Pauley in the RTE gangland drama, but his character was killed off when Siobhan pushed him off her balcony.
"What's weird about it is I have people writing on my Facebook wall as if I'm actually dead, and my mum ringing me up saying, 'Oh my God, I can't believe it'," he told the Herald.
Now Johnny is back as Peter Pan in the Gaiety panto and says the cast are ready for any heckling from the audience.
"We're prepared for it because there's a line where I say, 'Wendy, be careful on the balcony', and obviously we have to say something about Pauley," he said. "That's what panto's about - getting people involved.
"So if the kids want to shout up 'Pauley' they will, but they shouldn't be watching Love/Hate anyway, so I reckon the mums and dads will shout up."
Johnny said his girlfriend will be helping him rehearse his dance moves.
"I'm delighted to have Rachel on board - we met doing Cinderella together two years ago," he said.
"She's going to go over all the dance steps with me because that's not my strongest point."
