Friends get 'fakeover' for 20th anniversary
TWO decades on, the stars of smash hit sitcom Friends appear to be such great pals that they're in London celebrating the 20th anniversary of the show.
Closer inspection, however, reveals the candid snaps are the work of English photographer Alison Jackson, who's famed for her fake photos of celebrities.
Jackon's 'Friends' photos have been issued in the run-up to the anniversary of the first episode of the show, which premiered in the US on September 22, 1994.
The final episode of the series, which ran for 10 years, was watched by 52.46 million people in the US alone.
Later this month, Warner Bros will open a pop-up replica of the iconic Central Perk cafe from the show at 199 Lafayette Street in Manhattan to help celebrate the anniversary.
It will operate for a month from September 17.
The cafe will feature many props from Friends, including the original orange couch on which the characters sipped their over-sized coffees.
Phoebe's signature Smelly Cat song will be played in the background of the set.
