FOUR Dublin men have been appeared in court charged under the criminal justice theft and fraud offences act.

Gary Ledden, with an address of 21 Oriel St, Dublin, Derek Murphy with no fixed address, Gary Murphy, of 96 Church Road, East Wall and Gerard Black with an address of 22c Killarney Court Dublin 1 were all charged under section 15 of the act.

The court heard that when cautioned at Store Street Garda Station, Mr Ledden replied: “They’re not mine.”

None of the other men made any comment when cautioned.

The four were released on bail after paying €250 bonds for their release with conditions attached. They will appear in court again on May 11.

The men must sign on at garda stations three times a week, stay from each other and avoid the Dublin 7 area except for Mr Duffy who is a taxi driver and may need to be in the area for professional reasons.

All four men must also obey a curfew between the hours of 12 midnight and 7am.

The men were arrested yesterday by gardai as part of an operation attached to the newly amalgamated Organised Crime Unit and Garda National Drug Unit
