FoI queries are vetoed

A TOTAL of 23pc of Freedom of Information (FoI) requests were turned down by government bodies last year.

Dr Martin Mansergh TD, Minister of State at the Department of Finance said that there were 14,290 requests made under the FoI Act and 77pc were granted either in full or in part.
