Five killed in Iraq bomb attacks

Bombings have killed at least five people outside of Baghdad, said officials in Iraq. A police officer said a bomb went off yesterday in a market in the town of Mahmudiyah, about 30km south of Baghdad, killing three and wounding nine. A second bombing killed two tribal fighters and wounded three in Madain, about 20km south-east of Baghdad.

Meanwhile, inside Baghdad, authorities found the bodies of three men dumped in the streets, all shot in the chest and head.
