FFF With shock eliminations and show-stopping performances from Sam Smith and One Direction, Sunday night's X Factor results show had all the ingredients for success. But the highlight for many fans on the night, however, was the announcement made by One Direction when they revealed that the band are going to take Ireland and the UK by storm once more in 2015. The boys are set to announce dates for the tour soon and are also going to appear on Bob Geldof's Band Aid 30th anniversary charity single.

FFF Passenger had arguably one of the most iconic songs last year with Let Her Go and now Mike Rosenberg will be taking to the stage in Dublin at the end of the month. He has just released his sixth studio album, Whispers, and it follows the massive success of his last album which topped the charts in 20 countries across the globe in 2013. Passenger will play the 3Arena on November 22 and tickets are €33.50 and are on sale now from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide.

FFF In anticipation of the release of The Hobbit: The Battle Of Five Armies - which will be released on December 12 - the Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield are setting aside Sunday, November 30, to play the original theatrical cuts of all three of Peter Jackson's The Lord of The Rings films back-to-back. Tickets to the full Lord of the Rings Marathon are available for only €19.50 or tickets for individual films are €9 and are available from the Box Office or www.lighthousecinema.ie.
