Escaped Haiti inmates found
A Jamaican official said three Haitian inmates who escaped from prison due to January's earthquake were on an overloaded migrant boat that arrived on the island's northeast coast last week.
Information Minister Daryl Vaz said police have custody of the men and they will be returned to Haiti.
7,000 protest Mexican fights
More than 7,000 people gathered in the northern Mexico city of Monterrey to protest a wave of violence that affected the city in recent weeks.
Most of the protesters wore white at a rally in Monterrey's main park and some released white balloons and a white dove as signs of peace.

Monte Carlo hotels were the most expensive in the world in 2009, averaging €191 a night, a survey by Hotels.com found.
