Economic sentiment up
A MEASURE of eurozone economic sentiment gained by more than expected in February.
It was lifted by the services and construction sectors as well as consumers, while inflation expectations jumped sharply among companies and households.
The European Commission's monthly survey showed that economic sentiment among the 17 countries using the euro rose to 107.8 this month from a revised 106.8 in January.
Sentiment gained in all sectors of the economy, most markedly among builders, consumers and in the services sector.
