Dubliner accused of having cannabis

A DUBLIN man who was allegedly caught by drugs gardai with a quantity of cannabis has been remanded on continuing bail for DPP's directions on the charges.

Keith Farrelly (40), of Swans Nest Road in Kilbarrack, appeared before Blanchardstown District Court charged with possession of cannabis as well as having the drug for sale or supply.

The alleged offence, contrary to the misuse of drugs act, took place at N7 Newlands Cross in Clondalkin on September 4 last.

As part of his bail conditions, Mr Farrelly must sign on each week at his local garda station.

He has also surrendered his passport and must notify gardai of any change of address.

Judge David McHugh adjourned the matter for six weeks for DPP's directions on the charges.
