The incident took place at Bracken Cabs, Drogheda Street, Balbriggan, at around 12.30am on December 6 last year.
Recognisances were set in the event of an appeal.
Cabbie caused crash with bus
A TAXI driver who caused a crash with a double-decker Dublin Bus said he jammed on his brakes in traffic because he felt "intimidated" by the driver "blaring" the horn behind him.
The bus crashed into the back of Colm Farrell's taxi when he came to a halt after picking up a passenger.
Dublin District Court heard he "gave the finger" out his cab window before braking in the accident on the Dublin's north quays.
He was fined €150. Farrell (43), of Lanesborough Grove, Finglas, pleaded guilty to careless driving on April 17, 2009.
