Drumm 'needs to return' -- Anglo chief
THE chief executive of Anglo Irish Bank said he is committed to pursuing former chief David Drumm to ensure the taxpayer receives as much money as possible. Mike Aynsley said that Drumm needed to face the public in Ireland.
"He needs to get a bit of backbone and come back," he said.
Mr Aynsley said a number of investigations were coming to conclusions and referrals were being made to the DPP.
But he said that the investigation at the bank was very complex and would take a lot of time as there were millions of documents to go through.
Minister for Justice Alan Shatter has expressed his disappointment that the former chief executive didn't return from the US to cooperate with a Garda inquiry.
"People will draw their own conclusions from that," he said.
