Designer Joanne gets Testino treatment
Fresh from snapping royal newlyweds Prince William and Kate, photographer Mario Testino is now fixing his lens on Irish designer Joanne Hynes.
The woman responsible for weather woman Jean Byrne's kooky wardrobe has been given the ultimate style seal of approval -- by being featured in Vogue.
The designer's jewellery collection is being photographed by Testino for the style bible.
And while she is one of the 'go-to' designers of choice for some of our best known faces including Grainne Seoige, it was her outrageous wardrobe choices for RTE weatherwoman Jean that caused much controversy and turned her into a household name.
A-list snapper Testino counts Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell and Vanessa Paradis as friends and regularly shoots covers for Vogue and Vanity Fair.
And Moss has even snapped him up to be her official wedding photographer this summer.
But it was Testino's recent work for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge that found him back in the headlines once again. He also took iconic photographs of Princess Diana -- William's mother.
"There has been a phenomenal reaction and interest in Joanne Hynes' incredible style solution neckpieces which can be carried through the seasons," a spokeswoman for Hynes told the Herald.
"Her couture luxury dresses and statement neckpieces graced the Baftas in London recently where Joanne Hynes dressed Tallulah Adeyemi," she said.
Hynes is no stranger to Vogue, having previously had her work featured in the fashion magazine, but fashion fans are keen to see Testino's interpretation of her work.
