Police say a dead fetus has been found in the bathroom of a plane that arrived in the Philippine capital. The discovery comes months after a woman gave birth on another flight to Manila and dumped the live infant in an airplane rubbish bag.
Aviation police investigator Marcelino Peninoy says a cleaner discovered the remains of the five to six-month-old male fetus on the Etihad Airways aircraft after it arrived from Abu Dhabi.
Abortion is illegal in the Philippines and the mother could face charges if she terminated the pregnancy.
Professor held in terror scare
A maths professor on a flight to Washington DC was arrested in a terror alert after passengers said he had placed a suspicious package in the plane's overhead bin.
State police said Ognjen Milatovic (35) refused the US Airways crew's request to hang up on his mobile phone and sit down.
Passengers reported hearing strange noises coming from a plastic bag. But police said later that the bag contained a set of keys, a bagel with cream cheese, some other small food items, a hat and a wallet.
Neil drink drive trial postponed
Rocker Vince Neil's trial on drunken driving and speeding charges in Nevada has been pushed back due to a change in the judge in the case.
A Clark County District Attorney's office spokeswoman said the 49-year-old Motley Crue singer will go before Justice of the Peace William Kephart on January 26.
Neil has pleaded not guilty to the charges. He is accused of driving while intoxicated and doing 60mph in a 45mph zone in his Lamborghini sports car.
Donald Duck grope charge
A woman who claims Donald Duck groped her at Disney's Epcot theme park in Florida can have her day in court, a judge has ruled.
Disney must defend itself against April Magolon's claims that the character grabbed her breast as she held her child at the Walt Disney World park, then joked about it.
Ms Magolon (27), of Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, claims the May 2008 encounter left her with post-traumatic stress.
