Three teens accused of Temple Bar brawl

THREE teenagers accused of taking part in a series of violent attacks that left five people seriously injured have been sent for trial.

Damilola Adeyemo (19), Nero Bobby Omoruyi (19) and Damilara Bammodu (18) were all returned for trial following an incident in which a Dublin DJ suffered serious head injuries when he was allegedly set upon by a group of African nationals.

He was one of five people injured in the melee in Temple Bar last year.

Adeyemo, of Glenshane Dale, Tallaght, is charged with four counts of assault causing harm in Temple Bar on October 10 last year.

He is further charged with assault causing serious harm, violent disorder, producing a bottle as a weapon and theft of a bag containing CDs and headphones.

Omoruyi, of North Circular Road, is charged with four counts of assault causing harm and one of assault causing serious harm.

Bammodu, of Cobh, Co Cork, has four charges of assault causing harm.
