Teen lobbed drugs in to jail

A MAN who threw two packets of heroin and two knives over the fence of Mountjoy Prison has been warned by a judge to "cop himself on".

Shane Jackson (19) of Phoenix Street, The Ranch, Ballyfermot, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to possession of heroin and knives and criminal damage on September 12, 2009.

Judge Tony Hunt was told by prosecuting garda, Neil Cepeda, that the teenager was still coming to garda attention for public order offences.

"He will face a custodial sentence if he does not cop himself on," Judge Hunt said.

He remanded Jackson on bail and adjourned the case to December 21.

Soap star Sam bans last scene

SAMANTHA Womack has banned her own children from watching her final scenes in EastEnders.

The story sees Ronnie Branning lose a baby to cot death before swapping him with Kat Moon's newborn.

Womack told Hello! magazine: "I did find the storyline very, very difficult. It was draining emotionally."

Earlier scenes, where her on-screen daughter Danielle died, had upset her son.
