Garda Ciaran McGeough of Swords Garda Station told Swords District Court it is alleged that the seven men set upon the woman using the weapons while she was in her car.
He said the alleged incident was as a result of an alleged feud.
All seven men are charged with violent disorder, causing criminal damage of a car and the production of articles during the course of the dispute in the estate last November.

Garda McGeough served the books of evidence on each of the seven men at Swords District Court on Monday.
He told the court the Director of Public Prosecutions consents for the matters to be returned for trial at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court, where the penalties upon conviction are potentially more severe than at District Court level.
Judge Dermot Dempsey gave the men the alibi caution, warning them they have 14 days to provide to the State details of anyone they propose calling as witnesses in their defence.
Gda McGeough told the court there are no objections to the men being remanded on continuing bail.
However, he asked Judge Dempsey to impose several bail conditions including that all seven men stay out of the Lissen Hall Green area of Swords and to have no contact whatsoever with the alleged injured party.
Judge Dempsey imposed the bail conditions and remanded the men on continuing bail to appear before Court 5 at the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin on July 24.
