A YOUNG man who allegedly handled over €4,500 worth of stolen marine electronic equipment has been remanded on continuing bail while the DPP considers the case.
Simon Hood (23) is alleged to have handled the stolen property over a five-day period last year.
A judge adjourned the matter for four weeks for the DPP's directions on the charge. Hood, of Clarinda Park East in Dun Laoghaire, appeared before Dun Laoghaire District Court charged with handling stolen property at his home between October 3 and October 10 last year.
The value of the goods was €4,685. The case was adjourned until February.
