Man and teen in court over raid on car auctions
A MAN and his teenage accomplice have appeared in court charged with burgling a car auction house.
Dean Fagan (21) and Fintan O'Reilly (18) have been ordered by a judge to stay away from the premises.
The defendants, both with addresses at Kildare Park in Crumlin, appeared before Blanchardstown District Court charged with burglary.
The alleged incident took place at Wilson Car Auctions, Kingswood, Dublin 22, on February 7.
Fagan is further charged with stealing a key, valued at €200, for a Mercedes C200 car and to possession of a knife in the same incident.
The court heard that gardai had no objections to bail, subject to a number of conditions.
Judge Patrick McMahon remanded Fagan on bail in his own bond of €200. He was ordered to sign on three times a week and to stay away from Wilson Car Auctions.
O'Reilly was ordered by the judge to sign on twice a week, at Sundrive Road Garda Station, and was also ordered to stay away from the auction house.
Judge McMahon adjourned both matters for six weeks for DPP's directions.
