'Lewd act' man has his case put back

A MAN who was seen committing a lewd act by a young woman while she was out riding her horse has had his case adjourned for six months to allow him to work with the probation services.

Mouhoub Bennafa (45) also threatened another man with a rock in a separate incident two days later, telling him he was going to "rape him in the bushes".

Judge John Lindsay adjourned the matter to September to allow Bennafa to work with the probation services.

Abusive

Bennafa, of Camden Street, Dublin 2, was found guilty of two counts of public indecency, as well as threatening and abusive behaviour and possession of a large rock.

Dun Laoghaire District Court previously heard the young woman was out walking her horse along Springfield Lane in Carrickmines around 7pm on August 9, 2010 when she saw Bennafa.

She said she was "pretty shocked", adding he had "everything exposed".

She was driving up Springfield Lane the next day, August 10, when she saw Bennafa and he was masturbating again.
