A 16-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged after a row erupted outside the Criminal Courts of Justice building in Dublin.
The teenager was arrested with a number of adults and he was then brought before the Children's Court, in Smithfield.
Judge John O'Neill heard that the south Dublin teenager "made no reply" when he was charged with engaging in threatening, abusive and insulting behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace.
There was no objection to bail and Judge O'Neill remanded the boy, who was accompanied to his case by his guardian, to appear again in November.
Son held after dad murdered
A TEENAGER was being held on suspicion of murder today after his father was stabbed to death and his mother suffered serious knife wounds following an incident at their home.
Police were called to an address in Heys Close, Blackburn, at around 7.50am yesterday and discovered the body of Neil Ryan (46).
His wife, Debbie Ryan (41) was found with stab injuries and taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital for treatment. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
An 18-year-old, believed to be the couple's son, Jordan, is currently in a secure hospital being assessed by mental health experts.
Ambassador aids drugs boy
AUSTRALIA'S ambassador to Indonesia is due in Bali today to seek the release of a 14-year-old schoolboy held for allegedly possessing drugs.
Ambassador Greg Moriarty, who is based in Jakarta and speaks the local language, will meet Indonesian authorities and provide support for the boy's parents.
The Australian teenager was arrested on October 4 near a hotel in Kuta allegedly in possession of cannabis.
