Head shop accused is given bail
A POLISH man charged with threatening to petrol bomb a head shop in Dublin has been granted bail.
Lukas Kalinska (25), of Joe Sardini's Court, Upper Dominick Street, Dublin 7, was remanded in custody last week after he was charged with threatening to cause criminal damage to the Hemp Stop on Capel Street.
He was also charged with possessing a jar containing petrol, a towel immersed in petrol and a cigarette lighter, to cause damage at the same location on May 10 last.
Yesterday, at Dublin District Court, Garda Steven Mullen said he had no objection to bail being granted subject to a number of conditions, including for the accused "to stay away from the Hemp Stop".
Judge Denis McLoughlin imposed the bail conditions and remanded Kalinska on bail to appear again on June 29 next.
