Brothers accused of harassing woman
Two brothers accused of harassing a woman over a two-month period are facing trial on the charge.
John Connolly (34) and Robert Connolly (30) are further accused of making a threat to kill a second named individual.
Judge David McHugh adjourned the matter for the service of the book of evidence.
The accused, both of Oakcourt Park in Ballyfermot, appeared before Blanchardstown District Court charged with harassing a woman at unknown locations within the State.
The harassment allegedly took place between October 15 and December 30, 2013.
The two men are further charged with making a threat to kill or cause serious harm to a man at Rinawade Vale in Leixlip, Co Kildare, on December 27, 2013.
Garda Sergeant Mary Doherty said the DPP has directed summary disposal of the matter in the District Court on a guilty plea only.
Judge McHugh said he would adjourn the matter to allow the disclosure of statements.
However, defence solicitor Matthew Kenny said there would not be a guilty plea.
Judge McHugh adjourned the matters to allow the State to prepare the book of evidence.
The two men have denied the charges.
