Boy accused of sandwich theft
A 14-YEAR-OLD schoolboy is to face trial at the Dublin Children's Court after he denied repeatedly stealing sandwiches and soft drinks from a shop.
The alleged thefts occurred on six dates last November at the same shop in a west Dublin suburb. He is accused of taking five sandwiches and four bottles of Lucozade.
He also faces a tenth charge for possessing a set of bolt cutters as a tool for use in a theft. He pleaded not guilty.
Judge Bryan Smyth remanded the teen on bail to appear again in May.
