Bouncer struck victim on jaw

An onlooker to a nightclub brawl has lost his sense of smell after being struck by a bouncer, a court heard.

Tomas Cernis (23) of Sheephill Avenue, Corduff, Dublin, pleaded guilty at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court to assaulting Kenneth Flood at Hush nightclub at the Red Cow Hotel, Dublin, on December 30, 2007.

The court heard that Mr Flood was queuing for his jacket when a fight broke out between people he didn't know.

The group were pushed outside by bouncers and Cernis punched Mr Flood in the jaw. The victim suffered swelling to his eye and damage to his nose. The judge imposed a suspended sentence of two years.

Lift-off will take place between April 12 and 16 from a station in North Phyongan province, the spokesman said.

The launch will take place exactly three years after a similar launch in April 2009 drew widespread condemnation from the US, South Korea and others as a cover for testing North Korea's long-range missile technology.
