A DUBLIN man accused of harassing and assaulting a woman has been sent for trial to Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on one of the charges.
Christopher Flood (49), of Ellenfield Court, Clarehall, was charged with harassing a woman at a location unknown on a date between April 21 and May 6, 2009.
He is also charged with assault causing harm to the same woman at Ferrycarrig Avenue, Coolock, on March 24 last year. The accused had a book of evidence served on him in relation to the assault charge. The court heard the DPP consented to him being sent forward for trial to next sittings of the Circuit Court.
The defendant was remanded on continuing bail on the harassment charge.
