Couple step up hunt for owner of Stevie

THE hunt is continuing for the owners of half-blind terrier Stevie Wonder who captured the hearts of Herald readers.

Charlie and Mary O'Henley from Newbridge, Co Kildare have adopted him. Mary said: "We just believe that someone out there must be missing him. We don't know, he might have been missing for a week when we found him so someone could believe he's dead.

"But we've had no calls yet, so there's been nothing so far. We just leave him and come back in the evening and he's there. We're going away soon and since he's not been vaccinated we can't send him to kennels."

If anyone thinks Stevie Wonder might be their dog, they can contact Charlie on 086 8205668.
