The boy, who is from a Polish family, has been living at Ciamalta Meadows in Nenagh, Co Tipperary.

Szymon is described as 5ft 5in tall, nine stone in weight, with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a black hoody with a zipped front, black/grey cotton trousers, elasticated at the ankles, with the name 'Animal' along the side of the trousers.

He was wearing new black Nike runners with a white rim around the sole.

He has two distinctive scars, one on the right cheek below his right eye and a reversed L-shaped scar on his forehead.
