A computer game can help people lose weight by turning them off high-calorie snacks.
Scientists believe the online game, which could in future be played on smartphones, may help to change bad eating habits and combat obesity.
Trial volunteers who completed just four 10-minute sessions of training while keeping food diaries lost almost 1.5lb (0.7kg) in a week. After six months they had shed nearly 4.5lb (2kg). They also reported lower "liking" of the unhealthy snack foods they had learned to resist.
