Comedy threesome to be Byrne's telly sidekicks

comedy trio Foil, Arms and Fog are moving from stage to screen to appear on Jason Byrne's new TV3 show, Snaptastic.

Byrne (inset) will be taking celebrities and a studio audience down memory lane, embarrassing them with dodgy photos from their childhoods.

Foil, Arms and Fog will be joining in the fun to make sure his guests are as mortified as possible.

Three pals from Rathfarnham - Sean Finegan (Foil), Conor McKenna (Arms) and Sean Flanagan (Hog) - make up the comedy sketch trio.

"We're going to be doing sketches on the photos and sort of making up what would happen next and generally making sure that everyone is suitably mortified about their pictures," they told the Herald.

The three are delighted to be part of the show, saying: "Individually, we've been on shows like The Savage Eye, but this is great because it's our own act being part of a big TV show."

The group have had great success over the past year.

They recently finished a world tour that culminated in a sell-out show at Dublin's Vicar Street.

There's plenty of opportunity to see them before they grace our screens - their new show, Begorrah, is part of the Tiger Dublin Fringe Festival and they are heading to Galway for the Vodafone Comedy Carnival next month.
