Club boss accuses prince in bar brawl
A former nightclub owner says he will not take a no-jail plea offer to resolve charges of beating up a prince from Monaco in a New York City bar brawl.
Adam Hock declined to plead guilty to misdemeanour assault in return for probation and anger management counselling.
Defence lawyer Joseph Tacopina said Hock was the victim in a February face-off with Prince Pierre Casiraghi (above) and three of the prince's friends.
He said Hock was attacked by "very privileged kids" who "feel they can do whatever they want".
He added that Hock needs surgery for a shoulder injury from the fracas.
A lawyer for the 24-year-old prince, who was treated for cuts, has declined to comment.
