City gets smarter

DUBLIN is right on track to become a leading 'smart city' at a global level.

Intel plans to develop a $4bn (€2.99bn) 14 nanometer chip plant at their campus in Leixlip.

Dublin Chamber of Commerce chief executive Gina Quin said: "This is a major boost, not only for the jobs, but also for our evolving reputation as a 'smart city' and 'high-tech' hub."
