Chiefs fly in for aviation talks

AIRLINE leasing agents and commercial banks are converging on Dublin today for the Annual Global Airfinance Conference Dublin.

The 15th conference will feature senior representatives from the world's largest airlines, leasing companies, commercial banks, export credit agencies, private equity firms, investment banks, manufacturers and law firms.

The event is taking place over the next three days at the Four Seasons Hotel and the keynote address will be made by Howard Putman, former CEO of Southwest Airlines.

The potential investors in jet airlines will discuss the key trends in the market for 2013.

One of the topics for discussion is the popularity of airline stock -- a growing trend for investors. More than 100 top industry speakers will address over 1,000 key industry players. The event includes bespoke client meeting space, ice breakers and cocktail receptions for more networking opportunities.
